Venus de la Figuera Monsant Red 2022	96 Wine Advocate The Garnacha from the village of La Figuera 2022 Venus de La Figuera has a decadent and very attractive Mediterranean nose, with a mixture of herbs, spices and berries, with some development à la Rayas and a medium-bodied palate with chalky, slightly dusty tannins. It fermented with a long maceration and 100% full clusters. This aged some 20 months in 100% amphorae, and the rest was in bottle. It has some 14.5% alcohol. The vines were burned and suffered a lot in 2024, and they didn’t produce much from that year. So, get hold of what you can from the previous vintages. 2,200 bottles produced.
