Mauritson Wines, Loam, Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2019 Loam Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep ruby purple color and slowly unfurling aromas of wild red and black cherries and blueberries, with touches of pencil shavings, dried herbs, lavender and tobacco leaves. The full-bodied palate is surprisingly bright and fresh despite its powerful frame, and it has a long, mineral driven finish. Give it another 2-3 years in bottle.
