The terroir of Domaine de Panisse is composed of clay soils covered with rounded pebbles, similar to Chateauneuf-du-Pape terroir. This outstanding Cotes-du-Rhone is made from old Grenache and old Syrah vines over 60 years of age. A 14 month aging period in barrels and large oak casks brings elegance and complexity. These vines are harvested by hand with the utmost respect for the terroir by Marilou and Axel Vacheron.
