Domaine Berthet-Rayne, Chateauneuf du Pape Rouge 2020	93 Wine Advocate This estate’s 2020 Chateauneuf du Pape features complex scents of peppery spice, raspberries, black cherries and a hint of mushroomy-tree bark-like funk. An entirely tank-aged blend of 65% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre, 10% Cinsault and 5% Syrah, it’s full-bodied and supple in the mouth, with textbook balance and a long finish. 92 James Suckling An elegant and emphatically dry wine with just a touch of richness on the well-structured palate. The positive, chalky tannins are well matched to the medium to full body with subtle red-fruit character and a touch of licorice. The clean, mineral finish pulls you back for more.
