Bernard Rion, Bourgogne Rouge "La Croix Blanche"

Beautiful dark ruby. The nose reveals aromas of red fruit (cherry), evolving towards notes of aging undergrowth. The palate is elegant, sleek with good balance, tannins and a long finish. A bottle that can be drunk young enough to enjoy the fruit or after a few years to be more mature. It put into perspective of red and white meat grilled or with sauce and cheeses such as Camembert, Brie de Meaux.
