Chateau Grillet, Condrieu “La Carthery”

This Condrieu La Cathery from Château Grillet is a rarity, with production limited to only a hundred bottles! It is a real success, offering a perfect balance on the palate and intense aromas of peaches and white flowers, enhanced by nuances of bourbon vanilla.

Terroir: amphitheater made up of 12 terraces (chaillées) culminating at an altitude of 150 to 250 m. The soils are composed on the one hand of biotite granite (quartz, feldspars and Micas) which as it weathers become clayey-sandy and on the other hand of Loess.

Vinification and aging: 12 months in new French oak barrels at 20% then 6 months in vats.
