Pago de La Jaraba, a family-owned winery in the heart of La Mancha, is dedicated to elevating the quality of its wines. In June 2019, the estate gained the prestigious Protected Denomination of Origin La Jaraba, joining the new wave of innovative Spanish wineries producing exceptional wines at remarkable value.
With a history dating back to the mid-1700s, the estate benefits from abundant underground water, a cool meso-climate, and elevation of 2,000 feet, ideal for growing high-quality grapes. The vineyard follows organic, sustainable practices, cultivating not only 80 hectares of Tempranillo but also wheat, barley, sunflowers, almonds, pistachios, and olives. The winery uses gravity-based production methods to preserve the fruit’s delicate tannins, and bottles the wines unfiltered, ensuring a pure expression of the grapes.
