Tablas Creek Patelin de Tablas Rouge, Paso Robles

The 2021 Patelin de Tablas has a nose of blackberries and iron, with both red and black licorice notes pointing to the interplay between redder-fruited grapes like Grenache and Mourvedre and the blackerfruited character of Syrah. On the palate, tangy black raspberry and black cherry fruit, with additional notes of baker’s chocolate and a graphite-like minerality. Mouth-filling, long, and complex. Drink over the next decade.
