NORE
Robert Gianesini acquired Jouclary in 1969, the property covers 30 ha. In 1990, in view of the installation of his son Pascal, he bought the other half of Jouclary. The property now has 60 hectares of vines. Half in AOP Cabardès on clay-limestone slopes, the other half in IGP Oc on cooler and deeper soils. The very old terraces with strong stoniness produce the most concentrated and dense wines in Cabardès. The low slopes, with deeper soils, bring in vin de pays cuvées with delicious characteristics. The harvest takes place early in the morning for the noble grape varieties, the fermentation temperatures are controlled by a group of cold and a gentle pressing respecting the finesse and aromas of the wine.
