Domaine Stephane Ogier, Cote Rotie "La Cote Blonde"

“In just a few short years (it was planted in 2010 and first bottled on its own in 2015), Ogier’s Côte-Blonde has raced out in front of his other bottlings. The 2018 Côte-Rôtie La Côte-Blonde hints at caramel and mocha on the nose, then eases into purple raspberry notes, maybe even some blueberries and red currants. It’s full-bodied and plush in texture but also lively and vibrant, with a tremendously long and velvety finish.”
