Le Pas de l'Escalette Ze Roze

Located between Millau and Montpellier in the Hérault, the Pas de l’Escalette is the essential and emblematic passage between the Larzac and the Mediterranean. Nestled at an altitude of 350 meters at the foot of the Larzac plateau, the area of around twenty hectares is divided into around fifty terraces on either side of the valley of Pégairolles de l’Escalette and Lauroux.

Each of our vines is planted on the limestone scree of the Causse, surrounded by dry stone walls and “clapas” (piles of stone). Protected by the Causse, this vineyard is naturally irrigated by the Larzac springs.

Biodiversity and tillage make it possible to produce grapes in balance with their environment.

Vinified like a white, Ze Roze stands out for its freshness and elegance. A blend of Grenache 50%, Cinsault 30%, and Carignan 20%, this organic Languedoc wine is a stunning summer sipper. Notes of peach, watermelon, and citrus explode from the glass
