View Winery Website

Caparsa is a family-run vineyard led by Paolo Cianferoni and his family since 1982. The estate, located in Radda in Chianti, spans 28.10 acres of organic vineyards, originally planted by Paolo’s father in 1965. The entire family is involved, with Federico managing marketing, Filippo working in the cellar and vineyards, and Fiamma studying agriculture to continue the legacy.

Caparsa’s wines are crafted from primarily Sangiovese grapes and reflect the unique terroir of the region. Known for their distinctive acidity, rich bouquet, and structured tannins, the wines possess exceptional aging potential. Caparsa’s philosophy is rooted in tradition, with a focus on organic practices and preserving the health of the land. Their dedication to maintaining high-quality standards, from vineyard to bottle, results in wines that are both authentic and expressive of the region’s heritage.

The estate’s commitment to organic viticulture, combined with the family’s passion, makes Caparsa’s wines truly unique in flavor and character.
