Bodegas Mauro

View Winery Website

Founded in 1980 by Mariano García in memory of his father, Bodegas Mauro has been committed to excellence from the very beginning. Balanced and elegant wines meant for aging which assert the identity of each terroir and the attributes of the different varieties.Bodegas Mauro is enclaved in the historic town of Tudela de Duero, in the province of Valladolid, just 19 kilometres from the provincial capital right in the heart of the Duero Valley. Located on the right bank halfway along this great river that embraces the village in a horseshoe shape.

The wine was first made in a large restored 17th century house, a magnificent example of traditional architecture with underground storage facilities. This house currently holds aging rooms and a historical bottle rack.A new winery was built with a sleek design just outside Tudela de Duero in 2004. Following several expansion periods, all the production processes from harvesting to bottling are now centralised at these facilities.
