The story of Armagnac Darroze began at the table of renowned chef Jean Darroze in Villeneuve-de-Marsan, where his passion for the South-West’s rich culinary traditions was passed to his son, Francis. Deeply rooted in the gastronomy and spirits of the Landes, Francis Darroze began exploring the Bas Armagnac terroirs in the late 1960s, selecting, aging, and bottling exceptional finds. This passion led to the founding of Armagnac Darroze, an extraordinary collection perfected in the cellars of Roquefort and Labastide d’Armagnac. Today, Marc Darroze continues this legacy, curating rare Armagnacs from small estates and renowned distillers, embodying the same dedication as his grandfather Jean and father Francis. Their vision of crafting single-estate, non-blended Armagnacs in traceable batches has positioned Armagnac Darroze as a guardian of local artisan craftsmanship and rare, exceptional spirits.
