Chateau Siran
Château Siran, originally owned by the Toulouse-Lautrec family, declined inclusion in the 1855 classification due to their legitimist beliefs. Acquired by Léo Barbier in 1859, the estate has a 17-hectare vineyard in the Médoc. The Miailhe family, involved in Bordeaux wine since the 17th century, took over in 1885. Notable members like Fréderic Miailhe and his descendants invested in enhancing the estate. Modernized in the late 20th and early 21st centuries under William-Alain and Édouard Miailhe, Château Siran is now recognized for its excellence and rich history, with significant contributions to the Bordeaux wine industry.
