View Winery Website

Château Margaux, known as the “Versailles of the Médoc,” has a winemaking history dating back to the 16th century. The estate’s iconic Neo-Palladian villa, designed by Louis Combes in the 19th century, adorns the labels of its esteemed Bordeaux blends. Under the guidance of winemaker Philippe Bascaules and owner Corinne Mentzelopoulos, the estate embraces biodynamic and organic farming, and has introduced modern innovations like screw caps and bottle authentication. The 265-hectare estate, with its renowned Cabernet Sauvignon-dominated blends, also produces the second wine, Pavillon Rouge, and a white version made from Sauvignon Blanc.
