Château Léoville Poyferré, a Second Classified Growth from 1855, is located in the prestigious Saint-Julien appellation. Established in 1840 when Baron Jean-Marie de Poyferré added his name to Léoville, this estate spans 80 hectares of exceptional terroir. The Cuvelier Family has nurtured it since 1920, preserving its rich history dating back to 1638. The vineyard’s life, influenced by the oceanic climate, unfolds through the seasons, with the vines revealing their full potential in summer before winter dormancy. Each year, this cycle adds to the legacy of Léoville Poyferré.
