Reviews

96pts Wine Spectator– 2020 vintage

Bright yet unctuous, capturing Condrieu’s unique tirck to a T, offering lively anise, apricot and white nectarine notes that bounce through with acacia and honeysuckle accents before finishing with a final flourish of fruit, all supported by underlying minerality.

94pts Jeb Dunnuck– 2018 vintage

“While I wasn’t able to taste the Vignes de Jacques Vernay, the 2018 Condrieu La Combe De Malleval showed beautifully, with a classic bouquet of apricot, Meyer lemon, honeysuckle, and white flower aromas and flavors. It’s rich, medium to fullbodied, has plenty of richness, yet terrific purity”

94pts Vinous– 2018 vintage

“Translucent straw-yellow. A penetrating bouquet evokes fresh citrus and orchard fruits that are complemented by suggestions of chalky minerals and pungent flowers. Juicy and sharply focused in the mouth, offering pear, Meyer lemon and honeysuckle flavors that show fine delineation and mineral.

The floral notes carry emphatically through the energetic finish, lingering with serious tenacity.”
