Reviews

92pts Wine Spectator– 2018 vintage

Precise and taut at first, but opens to vibrant expression midway through, with deep raspberry, violet and crushed rock flavors. Drink now through 2030. 1,671 cases made

93pts James Suckling– 2018 vintage

A rich, polished nose of baked blueberries, cassis, vanilla and chocolate orange. It’s medium-to full-bodied with ripe, velvety tannins. Plush and flavorful. Drink now or hold.

92pts Wine Enthusiast– 2018 vintage

This is an elegant wine, with peppery red fruit flavors of mixed berries. There’s a hint of cola and a streak of pine needle running down the spine. Still a bit tight, this will respond well to ample aeration, which should help to open up the astringent, tannic finish.

92pts Vinous– 2018 vintage

Glistening ruby-red. Lively and focused on the nose, displaying fresh red fruit and floral scents and a touch of peppery spice. Sappy, gently sweet cherry and raspberry flavors put on weight and stretch out slowly with air. The long, spice-laced finish is framed by steadily building tannins and leaves a hint of bitter cherry behind. All de-stemmed fruit and 22% new French oak. Drinking window: 2023 – 2031
