Description

Almost black in color, this is a wonderful wine. Just taste the weight of the darkest plum and sweet fig fruit flavors, a line of licorice and bitter coffee and huge, dry tannins.

93pts Wine Enthusiast– 2015 vintage

FOR THE 2015 VINTAGE
This is one of the top wines from this estate, a leading light in Cahors. It is structured, firm from tannins and wood aging.

But the wine is also about the organically grown fruit, juicy acidity and final blackberry flavors that form a beneficial contrast to a structure that needs to soften. Drink from 2023.

94pts Wine Enthusiast– 2016 vintage

Produced from organically grown grapes, this powerful wine is a magnificent explosion of black Malbec tannins and fruits. Its ripe structure and density are nowhere near maturity but have great potential. Drink from 2023.
