From hillsides around Lake Colbún in the Andean zone of the Maule Valley, this Sauvignon Blanc features the zones characteristic austerity and minerality.Compared with its coastal counterparts, this is less exuberant on the nose, but it has acidity that is intense and almost saline with impressive force that leads to thoughts of the Andes Mountains moderating the ripeness of the grapes.
