On the nose this wine is pure, no botrytis notes, a mix of white flowers and peach, with a touch of smoke. The taste is elegant with little residual sugar (13 grams), and a welcome acidity. The length is beautiful. To drink or keep two more years.
N/Apts The Wine Advocate– 2015 vintage
FOR THE 2015 VINTAGE
The 2015 Pinot Gris opens clear, ripe and aromatic on the nose with smoky and tropical fruit aromas. Round and juicy on the palate this is a medium- to full-bodied and well-structured Pinot from pure clay soils. The wine was bottled with 14.5% alcohol and almost seven grams of residual sugar. Fine tannins here as well, and a good, slightly salty finish.
90pts James Suckling– 2016 vintage
