Deep purple color. Rich, concentrated aromas of red fruit, garrigue, with a touch of cassis. Intense red fruits on the palate with excellent vibrancy. Long and persistent finish. An hour later, the wine had put on weight, seemed lusher, more opulent without giving up any of its brightness.

50% whole-bunch Syrah, 30% old Carignan, 20% Grenache on clay limestone. 21-day cuvaison. Aged for a year in cuve. Bright crimson. Quintessential Languedoc on the nose – is this the old Carignan element?
Very juicy and fruity and fresh until fine tannins with a hint of orange somehow push in. Really vibrant and healthy. Already enoyable but clearly this also has a way to go.

Mid crimson and very juicy and lively with more than a hint of a particularly sweet Côte Rôtie. Very fine with a lovely sinewy texture. Good structure but transparency too. Refreshing!
